In the current catalogue I much prefer the 914 than the 560 as I think it most closely represents the 112 you're looking for in a base Panerai with the black, sandwich dial and display back (and I quite like the vintage lume and flat crystal with no distortion). The PAM 560 is really the PAM 112, but with the new aforementioned P.5000 movement. The PAM 561, on the other hand, is a white dial version of the PAM 560. Other popular Luminor models that were refreshed with this new movement includes the titanium-cased PAM 176 and PAM 177. The PAM 111 is considered a Panerai classic. It’s got a bit more of that Panerai DNA, the movement is rock solid and easily serviceable, and it can easily be found and resold if needed.
