I think Rouge Garance appears the deepest and loudest in Clemence due to the saturation of the RG dye. In Epsom, it's lighter, and gentler. regarding epsom care.. corner rubs show much easier compared to togo or clemence. Scratches don't show as much. i would pass on epsom. after having a few bags in epsom, its not my preference of choice. it's just harder to repair/spa because it's an embossed leather, if it's a deep scratch, they can't use leather filler to get rid of the .202. I don't understand why it happens but its not dirt in my opinion as its happened to some bags before I have even used them. Though I was told that the clemence (bull calf leather) is easier to repair. I have seen a few togo (i think that this is by far the most popular leather) and they had "bat wings" with age. Also the epsom is lighter in weight than clemence. I would chose the clemence in the smaller 30" or the new Lindy.
Good to know that this is normal for Epsom. I also have a Euclide Card holder in Epsom in Noir which helps to hide the darkening of the leather. I do like the durability of Epsom. But I am not sure who I feel about having a bag in a lighter Epsom. This is good to know for my wishlist requests. Thanks to all for sharing.

Plus your preference for leather, if u like slightly slouchier bag, than Togo!!!
Epsom is a very light leather and keeps the shape. It will never get softer, it will always be rigid. It's very good for rain and it's diifficoult to ruin it. Personally I love it for small birkin. I have never seen a 35 in epsom, but .
